Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Shari Teigman (“Shari,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you visit shariteigman.com or any subdomain (the “Site”) or buy a product or service from us.

1. Information we collect

We collect three kinds of information:

• Information you give us. Your name, email address, and (for purchases) billing details when you fill out a form, subscribe to our newsletter, register for a masterclass, or buy a product. Payment card details are entered directly into our payment processor (Stripe) and are never stored on our servers.
• Information collected automatically. Standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited, referring URL, timestamps) and information stored in cookies and similar technologies. See “Cookies” below.
• Information from third parties. If you buy a book or product through Amazon, Stripe, or another retailer, that platform may share limited order information (such as an order number) with us so we can fulfill bonuses or related services.

2. How we use information

• To deliver products, services, bonuses, and content you request.
• To send transactional emails (receipts, access links, confirmations).
• To send marketing emails you opt into (you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email).
• To operate, secure, and improve the Site.
• To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.

3. Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep the Site working, remember your preferences, and (with your consent) understand how visitors use the Site and measure marketing performance. You can change your preferences at any time using the “Cookie preferences” link in our footer.

• Necessary cookies are required for the Site to function (e.g. remembering your cookie choices). These are always on.
• Analytics cookies help us understand how visitors use the Site. They are off by default and only set if you opt in.
• Marketing cookies are used for ad measurement and audiences if we run paid advertising. They are off by default and only set if you opt in.

4. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with the service providers we need to run the business, including:

• Stripe (payment processing)
• ActiveCampaign (email and marketing automation)
• Vercel (web hosting and analytics)
• Neon (database hosting)
• Google / YouTube / Zoom (when you interact with their features on or linked from the Site)

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a business transfer.

5. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these rights, email shari@shariteigman.com.

Residents of California, the EU/UK, and other jurisdictions with comprehensive privacy laws have additional rights, including the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. We will respond to verified requests within the timeframes required by applicable law.

6. Email marketing

When you sign up for our list, we'll send you content, updates, and offers. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. You can also email us to be removed.

7. Data retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information. No system is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children

The Site is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us so we can delete it.

10. International transfers

We are based in the United States. If you access the Site from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to and processed in the U.S. and other countries where our service providers operate.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top tells you when the most recent version took effect. Material changes will be communicated by posting on the Site or by email when appropriate.
